The primary object of the project is "to enable universal Water and Sanitation coverage with improved hygiene practices among the targeted 10 communities in Burgampahad Mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district in a period of 3 years" with the support of ITC/MSK. The activities include provision of individual household toilets, school toilets in 10 schools, promote water and sanitation and declare them as ODF communities.

Under this project, so far 175 construction of 175 Individual household toilets is facilitated benefiting 685 family members. School toilets were constructed in 10 schools benefiting 1250 students. Drinking water facilities were made at 3 places. Apart from this various awareness and training programs on water, sanitation and hygiene through to 3500 people were reached directly. The project is in progress and Knowledge, Attitude and Practice survey is scheduled this month.
