Project Brief

WASH Institute as a key resource centre for Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation organizes regular training programs for 'Water Supply', 'Sanitation' and 'Hygiene' for various state officials and engineers around the year. WASHi is having 19 modules for this.

Achievements

Washi is the key resource centre for Ministry of Water and Sanitation since 2010. For the past seven years,with the support of MDWS and PLAN India, WASHi has trained 1520 Engineers/Government Officials across the country in the field of integrated water supply, sustainable sanitation, water quality, water and sanitation during emergency relief, Ecosan, Water Security and Water Management etc. WASHi is the only organization to have evaluated the impact of its training courses by choosing participants who have undergone for the past 4 years with a third party evaluator.
